Avocado Cantina Palm Beach Gardens
Really great food. I had the house salad with skirt steak on top. Wonderful meal. I highly recommend!! Nice service too!
We wanted to try this restaurant after seeing something about it in The Palm Beach Post. We are so glad we did. The only disappointments were: no refried beans, they have pinto beans and no crunchy tacos. They only have soft ones.I had an…amazing Kiwi Mojito. My husband had an amazing Frozen Rita. The bartender person must be good. The cook also. I had an amazing Chile Relleno. I compare these to the ones made at Red Mesa in St Pete. This one was actually more interesting. My husband had the New York Strip Mexicana- he loved it. This is not your typical boring Mexican restaurant the decor is unusual with all the little monkeys all around which I asked about and was told by one of the friendly managers, that the owner is French and loves Mexico and likes the monkeys seen in an area of Mexico. Their menu has a lot of interesting choices. Cant wait for the next visit.More
Loved the open air vibe and the lovely Luis Miguel playlist music fit the vibe as well. It was a bit lake on a weekday so I was happy they were open and serving. The Pork Belly tacos were very good as well as the…Carnitas. The guacamole was fresh and the margaritas were great! The perfect ending to a long day of driving. Set in a mall area but it was pretty and tropical feeling.More

Avocado Grill Heads North
Moving on Up
Avocado Grill is set to open their doors at Downtown at the Gardens this Fall, bringing their hotspot vibe to North County. Known for their farm-to-table creations and lively atmosphere, the flagship Datura location has been a popular hangout from brunch to late night for the past two years. Chef Julien Gremaud plans to bring new life to the former RA Sushi space with fresh, high quality food and an energetic crowd.
At the helm of the design is Saladino Design Group. The décor of the 4,200 square foot floor plan will reflect the original AG aesthetic with shades of green blended with modern and natural elements to create an earthy and airy space. The restaurant will feature an open kitchen for diners to enjoy the bustle of their food being prepared along with a large bar area. There will be outdoor seating to enjoy the people watching of Downtown at the Gardens just outside of the floor to ceiling doorways.
The move north is exciting for the Avocado Grill team as they join a handful of chefs elevating the Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter culinary scene. Their artful approach to food and attention to detail and quality ingredients has generated a loyal following and local fan base, which is sure to grow. The opening is an exciting sign for residents as the foodie scene makes it way up from Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

Avocado Cantina Opens In Palm Beach Gardens
Its the season of reinvention, and heres a big, local name doing just that.
Avocado Grill in downtown West Palm Beach, at 125 Datura St., is known for its great food, solid location and Chef/Owner Julien Gremaud. He opened a second location, modled on the original, in Palm Beach Gardens, but it never took off the way the WPB venue did.
Enter Avocado Cantina, a redesigned space focusing on Mexican cuisine. Gremaud traveled to Mexico in September to learn more about using the techniques and ingredients from that area. Then he returned and put our local products to work, too. The result is dishes such as Mexican street corn , grilled chicken mole negro, chile relleno and a lot more.
The interior is all about the culture, and includes bright murals and new private booths covered that are safe for distancing. Check out the happy hour specials and weekend brunches.
Please continue to support your local restaurantsand stay safe, too. Masks are still required while in the restaurants until you get to your table. If you get up for the restrooms, put your mask on. Youre protecting yourself and those around you.
