Tim Love Is Opening A Music Hall
Chef Tim Love is getting into the music industry, of sorts. PaperCity reports that Love will open a music hall/restaurant/event space called Tannahills Tavern & Music Hall in Mule Alley. The 26,000-square-foot venue will hold 1,000 people in the Fort Worth Stockyards and is expected to open sometime in 2022.

Zen Sushi Owners Next Restaurant Will Be Cajun
Michelle Carpenter, the chef/owner of long-running Bishop Arts spot Zen Sushi, is branching out: Carpenter will open her second restaurant in March in North Oak Cliff. Look for Restaurant Beatrice at in a Craftsman home at 1111 N. Beckley Road, with a menu that taps into the Cajun side of her familys culinary traditions.
To open Restaurant Beatrice, Carpenter enlisted New Orleans native Terance Jenkins as consulting executive chef, who started his career nearly two decades ago making gumbo at Commanders Palace. The menu at Carpenters new restaurant will include fried chicken with pepper jelly and duck and andouille gumbo , with seafood boils on the patio. The BIPOC and woman-led restaurant will source ingredients from local farmers and prioritize sustainability, including minimizing food waste.
