Can’t seem to get a rare cut of prime rib at J Peters. Went to their M.I. location a couple weeks ago and they brought out a medium/medium well cut. When manager stopped by to see how my meal was, I asked him if he…would consider this “rare” and he said “yes”, but offered to take it back. He knew it was no where near “rare”. Then he brought out another one and it was at most medium and said that was the closest thing they had. If you don’t have it, just say so and would have ordered something else. Tried P.I. location for dinner last week, since they are closed for lunch. Asked for “rare” and received at most medium-rare at $27.99. Does anyone know what “rare” is now a days? Guess they don’t want to take a hit on the price, so just serve what you have and hope it flies with the customer. Very disappointed!!More
We stop by J Peters often and usually sit at the bar. Always a great experience. Drinks are a good pour and our choice of food never disappoints. Tonight we went with friends and sat in a booth. Everyone enjoyed their meal, but the highlight…was our server, Joey. What a nice young man, who knew how to serve a foursome of old people. He bantered back and forth with us with ease.
