Burger King Is Launching A New Mexican Original Chicken Sandwich In January 2023
The Fast Food Post has learned that Burger King is putting a spicy twist on a classic fan favorite with the launch of the new Mexican Original Chicken Sandwich starting in early January 2023.
Burger Kings new Mexican Original Chicken Sandwich will feature a lightly breaded chicken breast paired with what appears to be ghost pepper cheese and crispy-fried jalapeños on a sesame seed bun. Its basically the chicken sandwich version of the brands recently released Ghost Pepper Whopper, but without the orange bun.
I reached out to my local Burger King, and although they couldnt give me an exact date, they did confirm that the sandwich is, indeed, in the works and that it will be priced somewhere around the $5.99 mark.
For those unfamiliar, the Original Chicken Sandwich, which was first introduced back in 1978, features lightly breaded chicken topped with crisp lettuce and creamy mayonnaise on a long sesame seed bun.

Chicken Fried Steak Sandwiches are just the sandwich you need when youve got a lot of hungry people. Theyll disappear before your eyes!
When my husband and I were dating, we would often grab lunch at a little taco joint that served the best chicken fried steak sandwiches. I normally stuck with the soft tacos, but once I took a bite of Tonys chicken fried steak sandwich, I was hooked.
When my kids were little, they were always a little confused as to whether we were having steak or chicken. I would explain that its steak, fried like you fry chicken. .
They would just shrug their shoulders and I knew they really just wanted to know how much longer until supper would be ready.
Sometimes I will cut the steak into small pieces and make chicken fried steak bites with country gravy. Its totally irresistible as well, but is a bit more time consuming and a bit more of a mess.
So if Im in a time crunch, chicken fried steak sandwiches are the way to go.
Tenderized steak is deep fried with a crispy coating and it is my ultimate comfort food. You can often find tenderized steaks on sale at the grocery store and I love that they make a quick and easy meal.
Think about serving them up with tater tots, mac and cheese or parmesan smashed potatoes.
Ensuring your oil is hot will keep the coating from absorbing too much oil and being so greasy.
Cook these up and just watch them disappear!
